2018 William Fevre Petit Chablis

Founded by William Fevre in 1957 the domaine has grown to now become one of the biggest land owners in Chablis with 78 hectares of prestigious vineyards, of which 15.9 hectares are classified as Premiers Crus and 15.2 as Grand Crus. The Petit Chablis was matured in stainless steel vats for a period of 8-10 months to preserve freshness.

Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Pronounced pear, lime and green apple scents are overlaid by slate, citrus, fresh herbs and flinty mineral notes. Light and fresh the palate is decorated with pear, lime and green apple flavours which meld into slate, citrus and flinty mineral characters. Round pebble stone like feel finishing dry and brisk with crisp acidity and a medium length aftertaste.
