Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Alluring aromas of anise, dark cherry and strawberry fruits mix with incense and spicy herbs. Medium bodied the palate has a juicy feel with generous liquorice, dark cherry and plum flavours sitting over a subtle toast, inky earth and spice back drop. Bright finish with slightly grainy tannins and a savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.

Co-fermented. 10% whole berries. 20 days on skins. Basket-pressed to large old oak. It's a lovely addition to the range. It's at the upper end of medium weight, it's blessed with graphite, clove and plum flavours, its texture is velvety and it finishes with a satisfying burst. More power to it. Drink by 2027.
