2018 The Hedonist Ecology Shiraz

Certified biodynamic the wine was matured for 9 months in second use 4500 litre foudre. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a vibrant dark red hue. Scented aromatics of ripe freshly crushed blackberries and liquorice mix with dark plum, traces of fennel and spice. Juicy dark plum, blackberry and liquorice fruits have a plush feel with inky earth and vanillin spice elements sitting underneath. Slightly dryish finish with youthful acidity and polished tannins. Medium length dark fruited conclusion.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
