2018 Portsea Estate Pinot Noir

Aged in 30% new French oak. Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Perfumed scents of violets, dark cherries and strawberries meld into spicy cedar, forest floor and subtle dried herb notes. Delicious ripe dark cherry fruits dominate the palate with some strawberry, forest floor, meaty characters, dried herbs and spicy cedar sitting underneath. Supple feel across the mouth with velvet smooth tannins and nicely balanced acidity. Excellent power with a long polished aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
