2018 Paringa Estate Peninsula Chardonnay

This wine underwent 9 months barrel maturation with regular lees stirring to build weight and complexity. Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Aromas of nectarine and light peach meld into dried honey, biscuity oak, subtle nougat and spice. Fleshy white peach and nectarine flavours intermix with dried honey characters on the medium weight palate. Slightly creamy textural feel finishing with good freshness and elements of biscuity nougat, light cashew and spice. Concludes with a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
