2018 Ocean Eight Pinot Gris

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a glimmer of green around the edges and a watery hue. Ripe pear and apple aromas are overlaid by light honeysuckle with hints of spicy quince also evident. Rich pear and ripe apple flavours mix with honeysuckle to create a fullish textural feel. Some subtle quince and ginger spice characters make an appearance on the back palate. Finishes dry with good fresh acidity and a vibrant medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
