2018 Monterra Cabernet

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red hue. Lifted aromas of ripe blackcurrants infused with bay leaf and black olives are followed by tobacco and spicy cedar notes. Medium bodied with an elegant feel, generous blackcurrant and mulberry fruits meld into cedary tobacco characters, dried herbs and spice. Dryish, slightly chalky tannins provide structure. Good depth with a medium length finish.
