2018 Massena Stonegarden Riesling

Powerful, concentrated and full, a core of electrifying acidity provides the necessary verve.

Sourced from a vineyard planted in 1946, a small portion of this wine was barrel fermented in small oak casks to enhance the wines textural feel.

Brilliant pale straw colour with a slight tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Fragrant lime top notes meld into citrus and orange rind with talc and stony mineral notes ensuing. Fantastic palate intensity with mouth watering flavours of lime and citrus dominate over subtle orange rind, mandarin, talc and flinty mineral elements. Finishes dry with crunchy acidity and a long racy lime citrus driven aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
