2018 Mandala Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with distinctive reflections of green around the edges and a watery hue. The nose carries aromas of white peach, nectarine and dried honey over citrusy nougat, light biscuit and subtle gun flint notes. Medium bodied, fresh and elegant, gently creamed flavours of white peaches, citrus and dried honey are married to elements of cashew and light spicy nougat. Finishes dry with balanced acidity and a medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

Effortless chardonnay with stonefruit, toast, nougat and oatmeal flavours purring through the palate. It has satisfying volume but it’s all about the finish, which lingers appreciably. Very nicely done. Drink 2020-2024.
