2018 Lilydale Estate Pinot Noir

From a vineyard planted in 1974. Semi translucent bright dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light vibrant crimson red hue. Fragrant spicy ripe cherry and strawberry aromas emanate from the glass followed by hints of anise, forest floor and dried herbs. Delicious ripe red to dark cherry and strawberry flavours decorate the palate with forest floor, tinges of anise and spicy cedar also chiming in. Supple feel with elegant refined tannins, good power and a long moreish finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
