2018 Leconfield Coonawarra Chardonnay

Barrel fermented entirely with natural yeast and matured for 10 months on its lees to impart texture. Brilliant pale straw colour with a subtle glimmer of green around the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of citrus, nectarine and light bees wax are trailed by some gun flint notes. Medium bodied with a touch of creaminess to the mouthfeel, flavours of white peach and nectarine overlay subtle dried honey, light biscuity oak and flinty match stick elements. Finishes dry with vibrant acidity and a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
