Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Lifted aromas of zesty lime, citrus and orange rind infused with talc are followed by some steely mineral notes. Linear in its feel, lime, citrus and green apple flavours are backed by wet steel and minerals. Finishes dry with crisp acidity and a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
Alc. 11.3%

Other Reviews….
“The wine is made up of 70% high solids tank ferment, 20% ex new Slavonian oak foudre, and 10% aged hogsheads.” Thinks a little differently to most, does our Michael Corbett. Churinga Vineyard is the source of the grapes.
Complex little thing it is. I’m thinking chamomile, Japanese ginger, sour green apple and lemon barley water. It’s quite grippy and spicy, all chalk and brick dust, some bitter lemon, slightly sour but juicy, and a long fresh finish. It’s a wine of interest and personality, and it’s very good to drink. Drink 2019-2027.
