2018 Kris Pinot Grigio

Kris is selected from the three regions that make up the delle Venezie, encompassing Trentino-Alto Adige, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and the Veneto. Brilliant very pale straw colour with a faint greenish tinge to the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of pear and ripe red apple meet up with dried honey characters and show excellent intensity. Also present are notions of quince and citrus. Generous pear and red apple flavours have a well rounded feel with a dash of lime, some stony characters, faint dried nut and spice on the back palate. Finishes dry with brisk acidity and a medium length aftertaste.
