2018 Joseph Colin Saint-Aubin En Remilly Premier Cru

Bright pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Fleshy peach and dried honey aromas mix with hints of cashew and nougat followed by some wet stone notes. The nose becomes more elevated as it sits in the glass. Refined in its feel yet possessing an underlying richness, fleshy peach, ripe pear and dried honey flavours overlay a subtle cashew and wet stone background. Vibrant acidity leads into an aftertaste that’s elegant, energetic and fresh.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

The 2018 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly is also showing brilliantly this year, bursting with notes of pear, hazelnuts, crisp orchard fruit and citrus oil, framed by a delicate touch of reduction. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, satiny and supple, with racy acids, fine concentration and a saline finish.
