2018 Giant Steps LDR Pinot Noir Syrah

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Aromas of dark cherries and dark plum intermix with hints of anise followed by some dried clove, earth, a touch of meatiness and spice. Medium bodied and quite plump, the palate is flooded with dark plum, dark cherry and anise fruits which over shadow a back drop of smoky clove like characters, meaty earth and spice. Velvety tannins with a ripe savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
