Aged for 12 months in oak barrels. Inky black heart with a deep dark red black hue. Spicy red currant aromas infused with tobacco leaf are trailed by dried herbs and hints of capsicum. The medium bodied palate features black currant and red liquorice fruits over tobacco, dried herbs, spicy cedar and light infusions of capsicum. Quite smooth in its mouthfeel with refined tannins. Good depth with a medium to long aftertaste that has a sense of elegance to it.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 13.5%

Other Reviews….
Aromas of green cloves with some Japanese bell peppers and blueberries. Be ready for the green character. Full to medium body, firm and silky tannins and a creamy finish. Polished and balanced. Drink or hold.
