Bright straw colour with a greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Spiced pear, lime and red apple aromas mix with hints of quince and a subtle stony mineral character. Texturally quite full and rounded the palate is generously flavoured with spicy pear, lime and dried apple fruits over a stony mineral back drop. Finishes dry with crisp acidity and an aftertaste of spicy stone fruits.

This had identical vinification to its sibling until the end of fermentation. It was then passed over (or through) gewurztraminer skins, resulting in a floral rose petal and sweet spice bouquet and a lively, pleasingly grippy palate. The chemical analysis of the wines are identical, both are made to drink now with food, no cellaring needed.
