2018 Barking Mad High Trellis Grenache Shiraz

A blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Shiraz matured in French oak hogsheads for 15 months. Midnight black dark red core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Intense black raspberry and liquorice scents meet up with toasty vanillin oak and spicy earth notes. Rich, full in body and possessing a bold opulent texture, the palate is densely packed with black raspberry, liquorice and blackberry fruits which overlay a back drop of vanillin oak and spicy earth. Ripe, slightly chewy tannins with a long finish that’s bursting with powerful black fruits.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
