A blend of 50% Mataro, 38% Grenache and 12% Shiraz. Very deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Nosing offers up an elevated aromatic profile of blueberries, plum, dark raspberries and liquorice with light vanillin cedar, earth and dried herb notes also chiming in. Fleshy and bright the mid weighted palate is generously flavoured with plum, raspberry and blueberry fruits which are underscored by liquorice, fresh herbs and spicy earth elements. Vibrant fresh acidity and polished tannins lead into a rather elegant aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 14.4%

Other Reviews….
A blend of the best barrels across varieties, one a spanking new Dominique Laurent puncheon, this is the address' prestige cuvee, for lack of a better term. Class is embedded in the tannins: fine grained, sandy and taut; the quality oak nestled in effortlessly, galvanising notes of raspberry bonbon, lavender, scrub, bergamot and cranberry. The wines here are dialled back of late, with a suggestion of earlier picked components threaded across the range. 50% mataro, 38% grenache, 12% shiraz. Drink by 2028.
