2017 Wirra Wirra Mrs Wigley Grenache Rose

Translucent crimson pink colour with a watery hue. Delightful ripe raspberry and strawberry scents sail out of the glass with a hint of pomegranate, musk and spice also evident. Supple and round in the mouth with a fresh vibrant finish the palate is littered with juicy raspberry, musk and strawberry flavours followed by some pomegranate and spice. Finishes dry with bright acidity and an aftertaste of raspberries, strawberries, infusions of musk and spicy pomegranate.

The light, but nonetheless vivid, puce hue introduces a fresh, crisp display of red berries, cherries and the barest hint of Turkish delight. Very much on of those wines suggesting the National Health and Medical Council's recommended 1-2 glass consumption should be ignored. Drink by 2018.
