2017 Water Wheel Baringhup Shiraz

Magnificent depth of colour featuring an impenetrable inky black core and a very deep black dark red hue. Pronounced aniseed top notes waft out of the glass followed by liquorice allsorts, ripe blackberry, vanillin confectionary and pepper notes. Rich and bold the palate is loaded with aniseed and liquorice flavours which meld into some lingering toasty oak characters on the back palate. Opulent textural feel with a dash of pepper on the finish. Velvet smooth tannins with an aniseed, prominent toasty vanillin oak and pepper aftertaste.
