Matured in older French oak barriques for 14 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of aniseed intermix with ripe black cherries, toasty oak and spice. Rich and fleshy the medium to full bodied palate features aniseed and black cherry flavours over a back drop of toasty oak and pepper. Velvety tannins concluding with medium length.
