2017 Tim Smith Bugalugs Grenache

Produced from old vine Grenache and aged in older French oak barrels. Deep bright dark red colour with a vibrant crimson red hue. Fragrant ripe red raspberry, plum and juicy cherry aromas drive the nose with liquorice and confectionary notes ensuing. There’s terrific fruit purity to the rich juicy red fruits with succulent dark raspberry and plum flavours flooding the mouth underpinned by dark cherries, a touch of liquorice and confectionary. Excellent concentration with a fleshy textural feel and velvety tannins. Finishes fresh with a long juicy dark raspberry, ripe dark cherry, plum, subtle liquorice and confectionary aftertaste. A delicious, lip smacking Grenache.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
