2017 Tim McNeil Reserve Watervale Riesling

Brilliant water like colour with a very faint tinge of green around the outskirts. Intense lime and citrus aromas flow through the olfactory senses with green apple, subtle orange rind, chalky talc and spice also chiming in. Mineral infused lime and lemon flavours drive the palate interspersed by a spine of piercingly crisp acidity. Excellent intensity of flavour with nuances of crunchy green apple, wet steel and chalky talc also shining through. Racy lean boned mouthfeel finishing dry with a long lime, green apple, lemon, wet steel, talc and mineral aftertaste.
