2017 Squitchy Lane Vineyard Pinot Noir

Matured in French oak barrels. Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a red hue. Fragrant scents of ripe dark cherry and anise are overlaid by violets with some winter strawberry, toasty cedar and meaty forest floor notes in tow. Rich, powerful and supple in the mouth, the palate is filled with ripe dark cherry, strawberry and anise flavours which are underpinned by toasty cedar, meaty forest floor characters and spicy dried herbs. Slightly dryish but otherwise velvety tannins with a long moreish conclusion.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
