Sourced from cool, high elevation vineyards in the Adelaide Hills this is 28th vintage of what is probably Australia’s most popular Sauvignon Blanc. Brilliant water like colour with a very faint tinge of green around the outskirts. Nosing results in intense passionfruit top notes followed by green apple, lime and hints of citrusy fresh herbs. Mouth watering flavours of passionfruit, green apple and lime adorn the palate with underlying citrus, a faint grassiness and mineral also apparent. Finishes dry and fresh with bracing acidity and a long aftertaste of passionfruit, green apple, citrus and mineral.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
Alc 12%

Other Reviews....
This is a dignified sauvignon blanc that continuously reveals itself as you move from the bouquet through to the aftertaste of the palate. Initially it has classic restraint, but by the time you pick up the sweet fruit (not sugar) you realise it's the product of a vintage designed for sauvignon blanc. Drink by 2020.
