2017 Seppeltsfield Barossa Shiraz

Matured in French oak. Impenetrable midnight black core with a deep dark red black hue. Elevated black cherry, liquorice, blackberry and dark plum aromas are trailed by lightly smoked vanillin cedar and spice. Rich black cherry, liquorice and blackberry flavours flood the mouth giving it a luscious feel. Underpinning the opulent fruit is subtlety smoked vanillin cedar, traces of fennel and pepper. Excellent concentration and power with well integrated sturdily built tannins providing the framework. Long black cherry, liquorice, dark plum, vanillin cedar, fennel and spicy pepper finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
