2017 Santa & D'Sas Nuovo Rosso

Made from a Sangiovese base with small inputs of Dolcetto, Shiraz and Durif also included. Vibrant dark red colour with black tinged edges and a youthful red purple hue. Freshly crushed dark cherry aromas combine with incense, inky earth like characters and subtle spicy clove. Light to medium bodied the palate is filed with fruity yet inky dark cherry flavours that are underscored by earthy incense characters, subtle dried cloves and spice. Dryish finish with bright acidity and finely grained tannins. Aftertaste of inky crushed dark cherries, earthy incense, subtle notions of clove and spice. A fresh, flavoursome Sangiovese blend to drink over the next 1-2 years.
