2017 Rusden Black Guts Shiraz

Impenetrable midnight black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Intense plum and liquorice scents are complexed by some smoky vanillin cedar, dried herbs, fennel and spice. Rich spicy plum, liquorice and Christmas cake like flavours engulf the palate with toasty vanillin oak, dried herbs and spice lying underneath. Big and weighty in the mouth with an opulent texture, the tannins are velvety in their feel yet also show plenty of muscle. Long lavish aftertaste.
