2017 Querciabella Chianti Classico

Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a bright red hue. Fragrant red cherry and red currant aromatics tinged with the merest hint of rose petals flow from the glass with fresh herb, light tobacco and spicy earth notes ensuing. Delicious bright red fruits decorate the palate underpinned by infusions of fresh herbs, light earthy tobacco characters and spicy cedar. Finishes with plenty of freshness and energy, finely grained tannins leading into a very savoury red fruited aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
