2017 Penley Estate Coonawarra Spring Release Cabernet Franc

Opaque black purple colour with a vibrant dark purple hue. Fragrant violet, ripe red currant, blueberry and subtle liquorice scents sit over some youthful inky earth nuances and subtle dried herb notes. Delicious freshly crushed berry flavours of ripe currants, plum and blueberry fill the mouth with an undercard of fresh herb infusions and subtle inky earth elements. Finishes fresh with vibrant acidity and soft finely grained tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of crushed berries, fresh herb infusions and traces of inky earth characters. A vibrant fruity red in the Beaujolais mould.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
