2017 Pedestal Pinot Gris

Fermented and matured in 1 year old French oak for 4 months. Brilliant water like colour with a light tinge of green to the edges. Elevated scents of fresh pears, a dash of lychees and juicy red apples emanate from the glass followed by some light musk and subtle quince. Delicious fresh pear and spicy red apple flavours dominate the palate with elements of lychee and musk also chiming in. Finishes dry with vibrant fresh acidity and spicy quince characters. Aftertaste of spicy pears, red apples, musk, faint lychee and a lick of quince.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
