2017 Pedestal Chardonnay

Fermented and matured in French oak for 8 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Aromatics of white peaches and nectarines are subtlety laced with gun flint followed by dried honey and citrusy nougat notes. Light to medium bodied with an elegant feel the palate has flavours of nectarines and citrus over dried honey, traces of gun flint and a faint touch of nougat. Finishes dry and fresh with lively acidity and an aftertaste of nectarines, citrus, subtle dried honey and gun flint.
Cellar 3-4 years.
