2017 Mt Duneed Estate Heathcote Shiraz

Matured in French oak barrels. Totally opaque black dark red core with a bright dark red hue. Spicy ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas dominate over vanillin cedar, subtle fennel and light pepper notes. Possessing good body weight the palate is richly fruited with ripe blackberries, liquorice and dark plums underpinned by spicy vanillin cedar and a peppery finish. Fine grained tannins, good balanced acidity and a medium to long black pepper laced aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
