2017 Mr Riggs Yacca Paddock Tempranillo

Deep black core with a dark red hue. Inky black cherry aromas intermix with graphite and black olive scents followed by hints of liquorice and pepper. Rich black cherry and liquorice fruit sits over a bed of tightly wound tannins that provide great structure. Also evident is spicy vanillin cedar, elements of crushed rock and pepper. Stern dry feel to the finish with plenty of underlying muscle there. Excellent length with a long spicy liquorice, black cherry, crushed rock, vanillin cedar and pepper aftertaste.
