Dense inky black colour with a deep dark red black hue. Elevated black cherry, liquorice and blackberry aromas are interwoven with scorched earth, black olive and blackpepper scents. Concentrated rich blackberry, black cherry and liquorice flavours swamp the mouth underpinned by smoky cedar, earth and blackpepper elements. Sturdy but fine grained tannins provide a firm support base. Generous feel with a long spicy blackberry, liquorice, black cherry, smoky cedar and blackpepper aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.

Other Reviews….
A lustrous magenta, this mid-weighted, highly aromatic syrah has the push and pull across the senses that marks all fine wine. Classy. Svelte. Black fruit allusions effortlessly meld with the telltale cool climate signposts of florals, iodine and lacy, peppery acidity. Drink by 2025.
