Bright pale straw colour with a glimmer of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Aromas of nectarine and grapefruit subtlety infused with gun flint meld into dried honey, lemon butter and biscuity oak. Medium bodied with an elegant creaminess to the textural feel, nectarine and peach fruits are interwoven with dried honey, bees wax and light lemon butter characters. Subtle biscuity oak sits underneath. Finishes with good freshness and a refined medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 12.5%

Other Reviews…..
From the McIntyre and Robinson Vineyards, the fruit chilled to 12 degrees C, whole-bunch pressed cloudy juice straight to French oak (20% new) for wild fermentation and 100% mlf, matured for 8 months. Positive tension between the bright fruit and the vinification.
