Midnight black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Pronounced liquorice top notes show great intensity out of the glass trailed by dark plum, dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice. Full in body with a plush feel, rich dark plum, dark chocolate and liquorice flavours run into some fairly prominent toasty vanillin oak with subtle earthy mocha and spice in the background. Velvet smooth tannins with lingering toasty vanillin oak and spicy mocha elements on the aftertaste.
