2017 Michel Guignier Beaujolais

Deep bright dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright red hue. Very floral the nose is led by violet laced scents of crushed ripe red cherries followed by incense and spicy fresh herb notes. Light in body, savoury fruit flavours of ripe red cherries and strawberries overlay earth, dried herbs and spice. Slightly dryish finish with good fresh acidity, finely grained tannins and a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
