Brilliant water like colour with greenish tinged edges. Intense ripe lime and red apple aromas intermix with hints of honeysuckle, orange blossom and mandarin. Richly textured with an off dry finish the palate is filled with ripe red apple, lime and honeysuckle flavours. A touch of mandarin is also evident. Good fresh balanced acidity with a long ripe red apple, honeysuckle, lime and subtle mandarin aftertaste.

Other Reviews….
Mostly Geisenheim 198 clone planted '05, 60% cool-fermented with some residual sugar in stainless steel, 40% fermented to dryness in old French barriques, matured for 4 months. Quite simply a beautiful riesling, tracking the German idea that the g/l of residual sugar and titratable acidity respectively should be roughly the same, here 10g/l residual sugar and 9.1g/l ta. It swoops and soars with its flavours, never pausing for a break. Drink by 2035.

Handsome and talented winemaker, is Peter Dredge, especially when it comes to white wines. Not that the colour of the wine has any impact on his overall handsomeness.
Nervy thing, but with a little sweetness to ease the kissing of the mirror. I’m thinking ripe lime and green apple, bread dough, and a little smoke and spice. It’s chalky and texture, kind of savoury, but a little sweet, the sour green apple and green mango, with an almost earthy and savoury finish, ending with a grip and spice. Lots going on here. Very good. Drink 2019-2030+
