Brilliant water like colour with a faint greenish tinge around the outskirts. A combination of passionfruit, gooseberry and grape fruit aromas show good elevation with herbaceous grassy scents and asparagus then moving in. Light and fresh across the palate an equal mix of passionfruit and herbaceous gooseberry flavours interplay with grassy asparagus characters and a subtle minerality. Finishes dry and crisp with medium length.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.

Other Reviews….
This boasts riveting intensity of flavour, with guava-soused acidity, rapier-like and juicy, carrying this mid-weighted sauvignon long and far. Greengage, nettle, talc and Thai herbs, too. 40% of the cuvee was fermented in French barriques, used twice prior. As importantly from a textural perspective, the wine was then kept on its lees for four-months before blending with the tank fermented component. This has conferred detail, mineral crunch and ample breadth. Drink by 2022.
