2017 Lake Breeze Bernoota Shiraz Cabernet

A blend of 60% Shiraz and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. Totally opaque black dark red heart with a bright dark red hue. Pronounced crushed blackberry and dark plum scents intermix with liquorice and blackcurrant notes followed by some vanillin cedar, mint and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate is decorated with rich dark plum, liquorice and crushed blackberries which have a plump yet youthful feel. Vanillin oak, traces of spearmint and spice sit in the background. Polished tannins with a slight inkiness to the long finish.
