2017 Kurtz Family Vineyards Seven Sleepers Shiraz

Totally opaque midnight black at its heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. A mixture of liquorice, dark chocolate and dark plum aromas show good elevation on the nose with subtlety toasted vanillin oak and pepper notes also evident. Plush and deeply fruited, the full bodied palate is filled with rich spicy black cherry, liquorice and dark plum flavours which are underpinned by gently toasted vanillin oak, earth and pepper. Velvety tannins. Excellent volume and depth with a long spicy opulent aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
