2017 Keller Riesling Trocken

Brilliant water like core with greenish tinged edges. The nose sings a chorus of red apple, lime and honeysuckle notes with orange blossom overtones and stony mineral scents on the finish. Racy lime, subtle red apple and tangy citrus flavours show great drive and length over a spine tingling mineral laden core of acidity. Delicate orange blossom infusions are also evident. Superb intensity with a dry zesty finish and long lime, red apple, tangy citrus, light orange blossom and mineral laden aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

As good as ever, with green mango and lime, cut fennel on a cheese board, floral perfume. It’s bright, juicy and tangy, full of flavour, but light on its feet, powdery/chalky texture, cool acidity, a touch of lime and rind on a long firm finish. Keller Trocken is always a delight, and no change here.
