2017 Kalleske Clarry's GSM

Certified organic, Clarry’s is a blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvedre that has been aged in old oak hogsheads for only 4 months in order to preserve the superb fresh fruit flavours. Very deep dark red black colour with a vibrant purple red hue. Intense ripe dark raspberry, fresh plum and liquorice scents dominate the nose. An overlay of incense like notes are followed by some subtle inky earth characters and spice. The stunning 2017 vintage has produced an exceptionally juicy and very concentrated Clarry’s that shows wonderful fruit purity. Delicious dark raspberry, black cherry and liquorice flavours flood the palate over a back drop of earthy incense characters and a spicy finish. Succulent mouthfeel with velvety tannins and vibrant fresh acidity. Long savoury aftertaste of spicy dark raspberries, liquorice, earthy incense characters and pepper.
