$52. 99
Bottle
$635.88 Dozen
Cellar: Drink now - 10 Years (2017-2027)

Certified organic. Brilliant water like colour with greenish tinged edges. Intense lime, lemon and talc aromas drift out of the glass underscored by hints of green apple and slatey mineral nuances. Slightly more open than the Springvale yet still tight in structure, the fresh, snappy palate is bursting with powerful lime and citrus flavours overlaying talc, green apple and chalky minerality. Sublime power and depth. Finishes dry with steely crisp acidity. Very long lime, citrus, talc, green apple, subtle steel and chalky mineral aftertaste.
Drink now or cellar 8-10 years.
Alc 12.7%

Other Reviews….
Intensely aromatic, floral and citrusy, so fragrant, like a posy of flowers or pot pourri. Wonderful. Quite surprisingly delicate in the palate, sure, there’s stacks of inward intensity, the finest yet firmest thread of acid through the core of citrus juice, minerals and green apple crunch. Pretty darn impressive here. Watch it fly. Drink 2017-2035+

Light straw hue. Lovely fresh aromas of lemon pith, candlewax and creamy notes. The palate is crisp and lively with intense lime and lemon fruit flavour and balanced refreshing acidity. A superb young riesling. The intensity and crystalline clarity in both aroma and flavour is outstanding. It is shaping as one of the greatest Polish Hill rieslings ever.

This is a ravishing riesling of the highest order, X-factor multiplied. Throw up any part (flesh, juice, skin, pith) of lime or lemons of any kind, add ethereal acidity and marvel at the elegance and length of the palate. Jeffrey Grosset is the undisputed king of the Clare Valley. Drink by 2042.
