Duke’s produce their Rose from a Cabernet base blended with a touch of Shiraz. Translucent light damask pink colour with a watery hue. A very fragrant, almost perfumed like nose offers up scents of rose petals, strawberries and musk over hints of Turkish delight and spice. Beautifully rounded in the mouth the palate is filled with ripe strawberry, peach, raspberry and musk flavours finishing dry with a lick of spice. Good fresh acidity with an aftertaste of strawberries, peach, musk and spice.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
Alc. 12.6%

Other Reviews…
From estate-grown cabernet and a touch of shiraz. Very pale salmon-pink; a rose that makes you sit up and pay attention, sorting out the display of red fruits with deftly woven tannins that are textural but not aggressive. Drink by 2019.
