2017 Duke's Magpie Hill Reserve Riesling

A magnificent Riesling displaying all the great attributes of the varietal – Precision, power and intensity.

Brilliant water like colour with a very faint tinge of green around the outskirts. Stemming from the glass are pronounced lemon and lime aromatics followed by green apple, hints of orange rind and talcy mineral notes. Possessing wonderful fruit intensity and pitch perfect in terms of its line and length, mouthwatering flavours of lemon, lime and green apple flavours fill the palate over infusions of wet steel and mineral. Outstanding power controlled by a vein of steely acidity that gives the dry finish a fresh crunchy feel. Very long lemon, lime, green apple and steely mineral aftertaste. A must buy for any Riesling lover.
