2017 Domaine William Fevre Chablis

Founded by William Fevre in 1957 the domaine has grown to now become one of the biggest land owners in Chablis with 78 hectares of prestigious vineyards, of which 15.9 hectares are classified as Premiers Crus and 15.2 as Grand Crus. Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Aromas of lime, green apple and citrus are overlaid by wet stone characters with subtle fresh herb and mineral end notes. Crisp and flinty, the fresh, elegantly textured palate dishes up flavours of lime and green apple infused with stone over some citrus and mineral characters. Dry finish with vibrant acidity and a stony mineral laden aftertaste of lime, green apple, citrus and subtle green herbs.
