2017 Crawford River Beta Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

Fermented in French oak and aged on lees. Bright pale straw colour with flecks of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Expressive lime and green apple aromas have a subtle fresh herb overlay with some faint citrusy bees wax like notes and a hint of grassiness also present. Texturally full with a silken like feel in the mouth, the palate is blessed with intense lime and pear fruits which are intermeshed with subtle dried herbs, bees wax and very light pencil shavings. Finishes dry and fresh with vibrant acidity and a long aftertaste that sees traces of herbaceous characters creep in.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
